Iraqi Army Liberates Ramadi from ISIS

Ramadi...center of the world in the war against ISIS in Iraq.  Ramadi lies 100 km from Baghdad and was captured by ISIS forces in May.  Since then it has been a sore spot for coalition forces and a tremendous advertising tool for the Islamic State in it's recruitment.

The Iraqi army announced this weekend that they have in fact liberated Ramadi..the capital of Anbar province.  This is without a doubt the most significant military operation conducted by the Iraqis in the war against ISIS.  The greatest victory to date.  The next step in a very long campaign will be to generate enough forces to capture Mosul from ISIS control on the road to a complete removal of ISIS from the country.
